While searching for chart components with smooth animations and real-time data visualizations, I realized there weren't many that felt modern, flexible and plug-and-play. So I built my own ZCharts.

The Thinking Behind ZCharts

ZCharts emphasizes modularity and consistency. Each chart is built as an independent, composable React component using TypeScript for reliability and shadcn UI for visual consistency. The goal is to deliver a minimal yet expressive data visualization experience for modern web apps.

Why the name ZCharts

ZCharts comes from the idea of Zen and Zero friction it's about making charts that feel smooth, easy, and natural to use. While working with Recharts I saw how powerful it was, but I wanted something that looked cleaner and felt more alive. So I built ZCharts a mix of Recharts performance and a simple design flow that blends right into any project. It's not just about data; it's about turning numbers into movement and giving your visuals a little life.
